Nine courses for $90 dollars on a 90th anniversary
If diamonds are for 60th anniversaries, then certainly a 90th deserves dinner at one of the top French restaurants in Florida.
The historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a nine-course, $90 a person menu at its luxurious Palme d’Or restaurant, which received a 3.5-star review by the Miami Herald. Until July 31, diners can be treated to a progression designed by chef Gregory Pugin, a disciple of the French master chef Joel Robuchon.
The menu includes such luxuries as sea urchin custard with poached langoustine, Spanish octopus with Burgundy snails, seared foie gras, and Alaskan black cod poached in coconut milk.
