1. Verde’s Exclusive Guest Chef Dinner Series
All summer long, Verde’s Executive Chef Kaytlin Brakerfield is collaborating with local guest chefs to offer a unqiue dining experience at the Perez Art Museum Miami. Each edition will include a reception on PAMM’s terrace, a welcome cocktail, and a three-course dinner with wine pairings inside Verde. On Thursday, August 4, Chef Aaron Brooks from EDGE Steak & Bar at Four Seasons will serve as guest chef, followed by Chef Niven Patel from Cheese Lodge & Spa on Thursday, September 1.

2. Narragansett Takeover with Jim Crooks at Izzy’s Miami
Don’t forget your flip flops as you head to Izzy’s Miami on Thursday, July 21 for a special takeover over in collaboration with Jim Crooks from Narragansett Brewing. Guests can enjoy buckets of steamers, stuffed quahogs, lobster rolls and blueberry pie, in addition to the regular a-la-carte menu. Live music will be provided by Mike Twang.
Tickets are $45 per person available here, and include a four-course summer picnic meal. There will be two seatings at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
3. Chef’s Table Monthly Dinner Series at Meat Market
The Lincoln Road mainstay is introducing a new Chef’s Table dinner series featuring never-before-seen exclusive dishes based on the ideas and creativity of Executive Chef and Co-Owner Sean Brasel. Guests will enjoy a multi-course selection of off-menu dishes emphasizing fresh local ingredients every third Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m.
Limited to 16 seats, the monthly event is priced at $85 per person excluding tax and gratuity. For an additional $35, guests can enjoy an optional beverage pairing. Reserve by calling 305-532-0088.
4. Summer BBQ Series at The Dutch
The Dutch at W South Beach is hosting its 5th annual Summer BBQ Series all month long. Every Wednesday night in July, Chef de Cuisine Adonay Tafur is teaming up with acclaimed guest chefs in Miami to curate a specially-themed family-style BBQ spread with desserts by The Dutch’s acclaimed pastry chef Josh Gripper. Special guest chef John Iatrellis of Lure Fishbar will help curate the event on July 20, followed on July 27 by John Gallo and Rene Reyes of Pinch Kitchen and Steve Santana of Taquiza. Tickets are $40 per person.
5. Ole Espana at Apothecary 330
As part of its Tastemakers Series, Apothecary 330 in Fort Lauderdale will present Ole Espana on Thursday, July 21 starting at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy a sampling of various Spanish wine varietals, as well as authentic Spanish tapas and pintxo pairings curated by Pizza Craft Chef Dan Hernandez. 6. Master Grilling Classes at Faena Hotel Miami Beach
This summer become a grillmaster with Los Fuegos’ “Ambassador of Fire” Frances Mallmann, who will be hosting exclusive grilling lessons followed by a special lunch paired with wines of Argentina. Upcoming classes are Aug. 20 (sold out) and September 10 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Tickets are $285 per person (excluding tax and service charge) and includes the full experience as well as an autographed copy of Mallmann On Fire, the best-selling cookbook by the acclaimed chef himself.
7. The Spirit of Cocktailing Series at LILT Lounge
Learn about the art of cocktailing at LILT Lounge during a series of classes offered by Director of Beverage Dean Feddaoui. Each class will explore one particular element, and will show guests how to incorporate it into cocktails made with different spirits. Open to 10 guests, the monthly class will be held in the Owner’s Lounge, located on the second floor of LILT from 7 – 9 p.m. The next classes will take place Tuesday, Aug. 23 and Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Each class is $60 per person and will feature three different spirits. Class participants will also enjoy light bites by Area 31’s Executive Chef Wolfgang Birk.
8. Tune In with Teddy: Mixology Classes at Radio Bar
Every month, tune in to Radio Bar as Teddy Collins and a special guest lead a class in mixology. Each installment focuses on a different drink or spirit, as students are taught how to craft unique cocktails using simple ingredients. Teddy’s next class, spotlighting Avua Cachaca, will take place Tuesday, Aug. 10 from 7 -8 p.m.

9. Master Brewer Academy
Hosted at Wynwood Brewing Company, The Tank Brewing Co., J. Wakefield Brewing and MIA Beer Company, this 12-week program lead by head brewers and industry professionals will teach beer enthusiasts a range of industry subjects from brewing science and field technology and equipment, to the business of beer. The academy will offer three terms per year with 12 seats available per enrollment period. Classes will take place Monday through Friday for eight hours a day.
