Beer that tastes like French toast? Only in Florida

How about a frosty glass of breakfast?

French toast beer is a real thing — and it’s delicious — thanks to Oakland Park’s Funky Buddha Brewery, which is releasing their specialty beer, French Toast Double Brown Ale, to the mass market for the first time today. The beer, which they created for the annual Extreme Beer Fest in Boston in 2014, is a rich brown ale redolent in maple syrup and cinnamon.

The beer is available at their brewery starting today at 5 p.m. and will be available at South Florida retailers such as Total Wine & More and local outlets such as Mendez Fuel.

Just a reminder! French Toast Double Brown Ale goes on sale tomorrow. French toast will go on draft and we'll start handing out wristbands for bottles at 5pm, bottles will begin distribution at 7pm.
