  • The Fontainebleau is going pink for breast cancer awareness month. Gotham Steak, Scarpetta, Hakkasan and Blade Sushi are all offering $39 three-course menus. A $1.50 from each menu will be donated to Susan G Komen for the Cure.
  • Red,the Steakhouse is now serving dinner Mondays from 6pm-midnight and is celebrating with $10 cosmos & Monday night football. The restaurant is also offering a new $39 three-course sunset menu available Sun-Thurs all evening and Fridays 5:30-7pm at the bar and 6-7pm in the dining room.
  • Arguably the best lunch deal in town resumes. FIU’s Hospitality Management Program brings back its three-course $18 lunch series. Students prepare the themed meals Tuesday, Thursdays & Friday through Dec 4. Call 305-919-4500 for reservations.

  • Get some culture with your eggs this (and every Sunday) courtesy of Maryel Epps’ weekly singing/performance at Caviar Kaspia from 12:30-2:30pm.
  • Essensia Restaurant & Lounge at the Palms celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness with bubbly. Throughout October and November women who reserve a table for four or more can indulge in a complimentary bottle of sparkling Mirabelle Brut Rose. Extra bonus – 10% of the revenues will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
  • Late night Beach bites just got a bit heartier. Beginning October 1, 8oz Burger Bar will be serving a full bar & complete menu till 5am seven days a week. The restaurant is also launching its $10 blended beer menu, featuring the likes of the Zacapaneca, a combination of Shipyard Bluefin Stout, 23-year-old Zacapa Rum, brown molasses and cacao nibs. Hit the causal eatery Monday-Friday between 4 & 7pm and enjoy half-priced microbrews and $5 single liqueur well drinks.
  • French SoBe newcomer Au Pied de Cochon greats the season with a host of specials. Monday through Sunday, happy hour from 4-7 offers discounted raw bar items (oysters, mussels mariniere, etc), $4 Pabst, $5 cocktails and $6 house wines. Thursday through Saturday, the restaurant honors the service industry with a late night “Green Hour” happy hour from 12-2am featuring $5 house wines and $3 cocktails, Pabst and Kronenbourg. Saturday and Sunday, diners can enjoy an all-day (10am-5pm) “Pink Hour” with $5 bloody Marys, mimosas, bellinis & cocktails and brunch with French toasts, eggs Florentine and more.
