Or, for those who partake, every Friday at 4:20 p.m. Or every day at 4:20 p.m. Or at 4:20 a.m…. As they say, it’s an unofficial holiday for an unofficial lifestyle.
All the coveted munchies are on the menu, which he released on his Instagram page Monday. Among the seven-item, $42-per-person menu is a double-bacon cheeseburger with smoked cheddar, a General Tso’s chicken and waffles with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. For dessert, a “special brownie” with burnt caramel.
The event has traditionally sold out quickly, even though Eating House is offering four seatings: 4:20 p.m., 6 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 9:45 p.m. Reservations can be made at the restaurant’s website, www.eatinghousemiami.com or through the smartphone app Resy.
Rapicavoli, 29, quickly has made a name for himself parlaying a win on the Food Network show Chopped to recently being named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award, the highest cooking honor for a chef, along with three other Miami toques.
