The restaurant, at 12305 S.W. 137th Ave. in the London Square Shopping Center, is scheduled to open Oct. 30, according to the South Florida Business Journal. It will be 2,700 square feet and will seat 64, with seating for 12 outside should you want to breathe in the fresh Kendall air.
This franchise will be the sixth Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza restaurant in South Florida. The others are in Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Boca Raton, Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. There are hundreds of franchises throughout the country.
By the way, what is it with restaurants and Heat players? Earlier this year Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem opened 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen behind the Aventura Mall. Former Heat star Ray Allen and his wife Shannon opened Grown in Miami a few years ago.
