Cavalli Restaurant in South Beach goes into hibernation
Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge, the sceney South Beach spot from Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, is closing Tuesday at 150 Ocean Dr. But the restaurant and club, embellished with animal-print furniture, is only going into hibernation, not extinction, a spokeswoman claims.
“We … should be back open by late November / early December for business as usual,” says Amy Noel Oman, the restaurant’s events director. “We are only going to be doing a few cosmetic changes to revive the space.”
Cavalli opened in December 2013 and received a two-star Miami Herald / Miami.com review a few months later.
