DIRT restaurant to boast clean eating in South Beach
Opening this fall in the heart of South Beach: DIRT, a clean-eating, fresh-casual restaurant at 232 Fifth St., between Washington and Collins avenues.
The restaurant, which will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, will feature a juice bar, build-your-own salads and plenty of other plant-based options. That’s a natural fit for chef Jonathan Seningen, who previously helmed Elizabeth’s Gone Raw in Washington, D.C., and trained with noted raw-foods chef Matthew Kenney.
Dirt isn’t all fruits and veggies: There’s also beef (grass-fed), poultry (pasture-raised), eggs (cage-free), fish (wild, sustainable), coffee (Fair Trade) and more.
