Taste of the Nation serves up food, wine and beer for charity in Miami Beach
One of the year’s premier walk-around eating and drinking events is coming up at 7 p.m. July 16 at the Loews Miami Beach (1601 Collins Ave.): Taste of the Nation South Florida, to benefit Share Our Strength’s #NoKidHungry campaign to end childhood hunger.
A ticket to Taste of the Nation, now in its 27th year, includes bites from about 50 South Florida restaurants, plus pours of wines and spirits, and — new to this year’s Taste — a craft beer garden featuring local favorites J Wakefield, Concrete Beach, Wynwood Brewing, Funky Buddha, Biscayne Bay and Miami Brewing Co.
You can also take part in live and silent auctions, view a display of work from local artists, and — with a VIP ticket — get into the main event an hour earlier and eat and drink more at an after-party at Lure Fishbar.
