Taste of Tennis, the annual kickoff to the U.S. Open in New York, is bringing its party to South Beach this year. On Monday night (March 23), top-ranked tennis pros and Miami chefs will mingle poolside at the W Hotel (2201 Collins Ave.), coinciding with the start of the Miami Open in Key Biscayne.
Featured chefs include Andrew Carmellini (The Dutch), Paula DaSilva (3030 Ocean), Dustin Ward (BLT Prime), Patricia Yeo (Khong River House), Kerry Heffernan (Wild Fish Direct), Michele Mazza (Il Mulino), Timon Balloo (Sugarcane), Nunzio Fuschillo (Bocce), Cesar Vega (SushiSamba), Thomas Tennant (The Genuine Hospitality Group) and Gilberto Arriaza (Gilbert’s Bakery).

Tickets are $200, and a portion of proceeds benefits Florida International University’s College of Architecture & the Arts | Miami Beach Urban Studios. The event runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., and tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
