Craft Beer Event of the Week: Beer Haven at the Miami-Dade County Fair.
Story: Always one to outdo itself in food and drink, the 64th annual Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition features a new Beer Haven, complete with a full-size demo brewery and canning system, a tractor-trailer bar with more than 60 taps, and specialty beers in fair flavors like cotton candy and funnel cake. Beer Haven showcases craft beers from national and local breweries, including several from South Florida.

Details: Guests can access the Beer Haven area throughout the fair, with food from Juicy’s Outlaw Grill and beer available for purchase, but it turns in to a Beer Festival on the four Saturdays of the fair: March 14, 21, 28 and April 4. On those dates, unlimited samples of all of Beer Haven’s brews will be available for one price ($35), with extra perks like early admission, free food, specialty beers and cigars for VIP ticket-holders ($70).
