Restaurateurs Tony Gallo and Pietro Vardeu will have an Italian restaurant trifecta on their hands this week as they open Campania, their third eatery in Miami-Dade featuring regional Italian food.
The latest, at 4029 N. Miami Ave., focuses on Southern Italy, specifically Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Campania opens Wednesday for dinner daily, and lunch to follow starting Jan. 12. Take-out also will be available, as will fresh-made items from Campania’s market counter.

Gallo and chef Vardeu also run Sardinia Enoteca in Miami Beach and the recently opened Moye in Brickell, in addition to several restaurants in Italy.
At Campania, look for made-to-order pizzas and calzones cooked in a custom-made wood-burning oven, as well as fresh pastas and housemade buffalo mozzarella.
