These Miami restaurants are cooking Thanksgiving dinner so you don’t have to
If you prefer someone else do the cooking for Thanksgiving, check out these restaurant specials that range from simple to lavish.
1. Ariete
Chef Michael Beltran who is known for a menu of farmhouse cuisine with a Latin influence is serving up a traditional Thanksgiving meal. It includes fried or smoked turkey, roasted ham and all the traditional sides. Simple dessert offerings of brownies, blondies and panettone close out the meal. A special holiday punch is available for $7 a glass. Nov. 23, 6-11 p.m., $55 per person.

2. Bird & Bone
They’re doing something interesting here and taking all the Thanksgiving leftovers, putting them in a sandwich and serving this specialty for lunch only on Nov. 24. It’s $16.

3. BLT Prime
Bring your appetite because this one’s billed as a lavish buffet-style feast. Roasted turkey, roast prime rib of beef, apple braised pork belly, roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon, pumpkin, apple ad pecan pie, are just some of the choices. Nov. 23, noon to 9 p.m., $98 for adults, $39 for kids ages 5-12.

4. BLT Steak
Located inside the Iberostar Berkley Hotel on South Beach, they’re offering a three-course prix fixe menu with choices of pumpkin crab bisque with spiced croutons and pine nuts, turkey roulade, plus collard greens, mac ‘n cheese and corn bread served family style. Nov. 23, 3-6 p.m., $80

5. Byblos Miami
The Thanksgiving meal at Byblos comes with a Mediterranean twist. It includes Hamachi a jalapeno labneh, turkey porchetta with saffron brioche stuffing, duck kibbeh, seared cauliflower with traditional tahini sauce and a halva parfait for dessert. Chef Stuart Cameron’s meal is $65 per person with an additional $30 for the wine pairing.

6. Diplomat Beach Resort
Bristol’s Burgers is Diplomat Beach Resort‘s newest restaurant and if you’re in the mood for something whimsical and different, they’ve got a twist on their traditional burgers. For $13, try the Gobble Burger a turkey patty topped with spiced-cranberry ginger compote, brie cheese and brussels sprout-apple slaw.
Celebrity Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, one of the hosts of “The Kitchen” on Food Network, and Executive Chef Jorge Negron are overseeing a huge Thanksgiving Brunch menu the Point Royal. At $50 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under and with bottomless hard cider punch, juice or coffee it’s a fantastic deal. Raw bar, carved meats and fish, charcuterie and cheeses, salads, sides and desserts are all stations set up at the Diplomat Beach Resort’s restaurant.

7. Essensia Restaurant & Lounge
Located inside the Palms Hotel & Spa you can dine al fresco on the terrace. There you can enjoy a dinner buffet with soup, salad and carving stations with turkey and ribeye or salmon for seafood lovers. A variety of sides and a dessert trio complete the meal. Nov. 23, $69 per person, $29 for kids 12 and under.

8. Faena Miami Beach
The multi-entertainment hotel complex also features several restaurants and two are featuring Thanksgiving menus.
At Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann there’s fennel prepared three ways, a turkey salad and lamb slow roasted for seven hour and apple tatin for dessert.
At Pao by Paul Qui the menu includes a roasted squash salad, deep fried turkey or roasted pork shoulder and cashew pie for dessert.
Each spot also has an a la carte menu available. $95 per person.

9. 15th & Vine
W Miami Brickell’s restaurant is serving up a Thanksgiving feast with a great view of the city and waterfront. Start with a red berries delight salad, turkey, ham or mahi mahi, a selection of family style vegetables and sides and choice of four pies for dessert. Nov. 23, noon to 8 p.m., $75 for adults, $35 for kids.

10. Fontainebleau Miami Beach
With all the restaurants inside this iconic hotel, there are two with standout Thanksgiving specials.
At StripSteak by Michael Mina an elegant dinner awaits. Choose from butternut squash satellite or black truffle frisee salad to start, followed by a family style American turkey dinner with rosemary-roasted turkey breast and Beaujolais braised turkey legs with a variety of traditional sides then a unique chocolate pumpkin pie topped with crème fraiche ice cream. Nov. 23, 5-11 p.m. $75 per person.
At the more casual Vida it’s a buffet style meal with enough salads to satisfy any salad lover, a sushi and raw bar, shellfish and ceviche, charcuterie and cheeses, rotisserie with turkey, prime rib, grouper, short rib and ham. Sides, pizzas, grilled meats and pastries round out the menu. Nov. 23, 1-9 p.m., $59 for adults and $29.50 for kids ages 5-12.

11. Forte dei Marmi
Chef Mellino is creating a three-course Thanksgiving brunch menu with a traditional antipasto bar, omelet, homemade pumpkin ravioli, oven baked stuffed turkey and dessert buffet. $75 per person.

12. Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
Whether you eat early or later in the day the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort’s got you covered. Brunch, served 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., includes roasted turkey with all the traditional sides, prime rib, roasted Atlantic salmon and seafood options. ($65 per person, $40 for 12 and under.) It’s the same price for dinner but with a wider variety at the buffet.

13. Icebox Cafe
At this South Beach spot you can choose to eat in or get your dinner to go. The to-go option serves 8-10 people and features a full Thanksgiving meal, including dessert for $325. 15. Kiki on the River
One of Miami’s most sought after reservations, grab a table here for a Thanksgiving meal including roasted or brined and marinated turkey, slow roasted pork belly and all the traditional Thanksgiving sides. The view of the river is unbeatable. Nov. 23, 5:30 p.m., $39.

16. Leynia at the Delano
A bit of the Argentinian fusion seeps into Chef Jose Icardi’s menu with brie and spinach empanadas and a smoked ham topped with a chimichurri glaze or an orchard ham grilled Argentinian parillada style. The rest of the menu includes turkey, smoked sweet potatoes and poached pear tart. $75 per person with an optional $35 sommelier wine pairing.

17. Margaritaville Restaurant
You won’t be wasting away but you’ll feel Jimmy Buffet’s presence everywhere. For Thanksgiving they’ll be serving a three-course meal with a butternut squash bisque, cider-brined turkey with all the traditional sides and pumpkin pie for dessert. 18. Meraki Greek Bistro
Give Turkey Day a Greek twist at this downtown spot that recently introduced an upstairs lounge. Their choices include a Greek honey glazed ham, a turkey stuffed with ground beef, nuts and raisins or a roasted beef roll, all unique non-traditional options. Sides include a pumpkin puree and a variety of salads.

19. The Miami Beach EDITION
The Thanksgiving specials at the Miami Beach EDITION’s classic restaurant Matador Room include a roasted pumpkin soup for $9 and for $28 roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing, chipotle gravy and cranberry salsa.
At Market there’s a four-course meal with choice of one appetizer and entree, several family style sides and a choice of one dessert. Adults $55, kids $30.

20. Nautilus Cabana Club

21. Neomi's Grill
Want a little live jazz with your turkey day brunch? Neomi’s Grill is where you can hear Eduardo Quintana play and feast on a buffet curated by Executive Chef Kurtis Jantz. The view is one of the best in the city and their Thanksgiving buffet is abundant.
