Pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith returns to Mignonette to eat dessert first
She’s back! Former Miami pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith moved to Los Angeles in 2015. But she’s returning for one night only at 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at Mignonette Uptown.
Goldsmith will team up with her former protégé Devin Braddock, corporate pastry chef for Danny Serfer’s restaurants, for a naughty ‘eat dessert first’ dinner.
The $100-per-person event includes a seated multi-course dinner, a goody bag of treats to take home and a signed copy of Goldsmith’s first cooking book, “Baking Out Loud: Fun Desserts with Big Flavors.”
We checked in with Goldsmith to see what she was up to on the Left Coast. In addition to her Sweet Hedy product line, she’s working on launching a cafe in an exclusive design boutique in L.A. She’s also working on her second book, a lifestyle book with recipes inspired by Southern California.
“I’m excited to fly in for an ‘eat dessert’ first dinner hosted by Danny and Devin, one of my proteges from my time at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink,” she said.
The menu is still in development, but seating is limited. Make reservations at 305-705-2159.
