Vintage cars, waterfront views, and $5 beer and wine? Yes please
Breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway, brightly-colored vintage cars, a set of giant Jenga and cornhole, and a laid-back beach-chic atmosphere: Welcome to Portico.
Situated in the Diplomat Landing Marina in Hollywood, the waterfront beer and wine garden feels like a perpetual summer backyard party paired with ice-cold brews and light Italian fare. Whether you arrive by car or by boat, you’re in for a treat.
The deal
Happy Hour at Portico runs daily from 5-7 p.m. and features $5 tap beers, bruschetta and wine. If you’re craving something heartier, you can order $5 burgers steps away from Bristol’s Burgers. And on Saturdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m., you can drink, eat, play and dance the night away to live Latin and tropical sounds during Portico’s brand new weekly Sunset Sessions.
Something to sip
Made with Jagermeister, gin, lemon syrup and sparkling wine, the Portico Spritz may taste like a breezy summer afternoon, but a couple of them pack a punch.
Other sips
If you’d prefer something lighter, try Portico’s White Sangria, made with white wine, fruit juices and elderflower liqueur, or their Red Sangria, made with red wine and Grand Marnier.
Something to savor
Made with spicy tomato sauce and pecorino, Portico’s meatballs are a must. As is the Margherita pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil.
