San Francisco-based chef-restaurateur Michael Mina is set to open his third South Florida restaurant, Stripsteak, next month in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Here’s where he eats when he’s in town: 

1. Scarpetta

The Duck and Foie Gras Ravioli is outstanding.

Angel Hair Uni with Ikura. We’ve been going there since we opened Bourbon Steak in Aventura.

I’m a fan of Michael Schwartz. The Agnolotti is delicious.

The Pizza is great, but the Calzone is out of this world.

5. Joe’s Stone Crab

Classic. Get the Stone Crabs, of course!

6. Bazaar

A great spot to see and be seen! I love ordering a bunch of new-school and old-school tapas.

These guys are unstoppable, and it’s so cool to see how they’ve grown over the years.

8. Broken Shaker

Handcrafted cocktails, coupled with fun bar bites: A slam dunk.

9. Juvia

You can’t beat the view. My favorite dish is the Cold Smoked Scallop.
