Krispy Kreme has a new Reese’s doughnut. Here’s why that sucks for Miami.
Call us what you want, but we’re used to getting all the cool things in Miami. So when we heard that Krispy Kreme was rolling out a new Reese’s doughnut, we were a little too confident that we would be able to go pick up a dozen for the office.
Now imagine our dismay (read: outrage) when we did a little research on the participating Florida shops and found that KRISPY KREME WILL NOT HAVE REESE’S DOUGHNUTS IN MIAMI.
Yes, we are screaming. And we think for good reason.
We double checked Krispy Kreme’s website…
And not only will there not be a single Reese’s doughnut in any Miami Krispy Kreme shop, but the franchise has excluded all of South Florida. Repeat: All of South Florida.
First of all, who does Krispy Kreme think they are leaving us out of the peanut-buttery chocolate sensation that happens when you mix a candy bar with one of the country’s best pastries in existence? And second, who do they think is making a four-hour drive for doughnuts?
They they have the nerve to tease us on Twitter.
Hey @ReesesPBCups, I think you got your PB & chocolate in my doughnut. pic.twitter.com/EBAKSjGYNK
