Coyo Taco teams with Paris St. Germain F.C. for a French food and football food truck
They say football, we say soccer, but from now through July 25, everyone says taco.
Coyo Taco has partnered with French football team Paris St. Germain F.C. for a French-themed food truck leading up to the much anticipated game July 26 against Italy’s Juventus at Hard Rock Stadium.
Chef Scott Linquist has created French-inspired tacos, including La Parisienne — duck confit, orange kumquat marmalade, pasilla Oaxaca, Grand Marnier salsa borracha — seared shrimp, ratatouille, basil pipian and provencal pico de gallo. These limited-time tacos are $9 each and come two per order. COYO Taco classics will also be available for those who prefer the host city’s own versions.
“This partnership with Paris St. Germain is a blend of cultures, Paris, Miami and Mexico, so I went back to some of my classic French culinary roots and blended it with some traditional Mexican flavors to create our tacos français,” Linquist said.
Keep an eye out around the city for the truck or stalk it via @coyotaco on social media to find out where they will be parked. Taco enthusiasts can also tweet to COYO Taco for their whereabouts. In the meantime, we have some confirmed locations already:
