The 200-seat Seek + Find opens Oct. 15 and will host its first official brunch on Oct. 21. Brunch, remember, is the most important meal of the week. Artworks by painters Jashe Oltuski and Tiago Magro offer up a New York graffiti kind of vibe.
If you’re hungry, you can eat and drink indoors or outdoors, and there’s a secret hideaway second floor room you access through a hidden stairway. OK, so not-so-secret anymore, since we just blabbed, but still who doesn’t want to drink in a semi-secret swanky bar?
The menu by Chef Frank Imbarlina is definitely eye-catching, starting with appetizers like duck confit tacos, wild mushroom and truffle puffs with ginger-pear marmalade and alligator tail corn dogs with mango ketchup.
Main courses include wild boar medallions, bison and wild boar Bolognese and Korean barbecued half chicken, served with purple sticky rice and rapini.
At the bar, try the signature S+F cocktail, with whiskey, amaretto, angostura bitters, simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white foam. It’s served in an iced snifter sprinkled with cinnamon.
Or get this guy to make you this flaming drink. We’re sure it tastes good.
