The South American Nikkei gem – with nine restaurants in South America and one coming to London in 2020 – is opening its first U.S. location in Brickell
Two Diegos – Herrera and de la Puente, who paved the way for the Nikkei craze in Peru and across South America – created the concept for the restaurant. Like their other restaurants, the heart of the Brickell Osaka will be a big ceviche and Nikkei bar.

Other highlights include nigiri sushi that use Peruvian ingredients; the famous Wasabi Ceviche; Izakaya sharing plates and other dishes using fresh seafood, vegetables, Kobe beef, duck and chicken.
Osaka is due to open sometime in the first quarter of 2019 at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive.
