The dishes: Ramen and Japanese Izakaya-style small plates. Ramen is made daily from scratch with the help of a premium noodle making machine imported from Japan. Prices are affordable with small plates ranging $6-$14 and ramen $14-$22.
Ramen is presented three ways: traditional, Tsukemen, or dipping style, and cold ramen. The 24-hour broths include Tonkotsu made with pork belly, Seafood brimming with lemongrass, clams, shrimp, Veggie flavored with shoyu and shiitake and Beef Brisket. Small plates run the gamut from Chicken wings, scallion pancakes and beef brisket bao buns to a scallop dish artfully presented with a table side brewing of broth spiked with lemongrass, garlic confit, chili and scallion. Those craving Japanese pub grub will go for the crispy pig ears with soy foam uni tacos on tempura-fried shiso leaves.
Bottom line: Ramen fanatics now have another option for authentic slurp-worthy bowls.
