This lively restaurant from Mexico is opening an intimate agave bar in Miami
RosaNegra, the high-energy Latin restaurant from Mexico, is opening a separate hidden bar at its Brickell restaurant.
From Grupo RosaNegra, which opened its first U.S. spot in Miami in December 2024, comes Amante, an intimate agave bar with its own private entrance and its own nightly programming.
Eduardo Beaven, CEO and founder of the hospitality group, said that the new lounge offers a different experience than the rest of RosaNegra while retaining the “same energy, sophistication and attention to detail that define all of our concepts.
“Agave has always been at the heart of Latin American culture, and with Amante we wanted to create a space that honors its traditions while presenting it through a modern, elevated lens,” he said.
The cocktail menu spotlights spirits like tequila, mezcal, raicilla, cocuy and sotol and features cocktails like the Besame Mucho (mezcal, rose and strawberry) and the Reloj, which blends hoja santa and cucumber. El Rey highlights bacanora (a traditional agave spirit) with hibiscus, raspberry and chile.
RosaNegra also has locations in Tulum, Cancun, Los Cabos and Polanco that draw the wealthy and famous like David Beckham, actress Eva Longoria, Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez and Colombian singer Karol G.
