Wynwood is getting a huge adults-only, ‘eatertainment’ venue — and there’s mini golf

You’ll probably never be able to swing, shoot or putt like Rory McIlroy, but you can give it the old college try next month at one of his favorite bars.

It’s called Puttery, and it’s set to open next month in the Wynwood area. McIlroy and his Symphony Ventures team invested about $10 million in this so-called eatertainment concept, with locations already in Dallas, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

The 34-year-old Irishman, who helped with the design and selected all the state-of-the-art clubs, calls Puttery an “immersive, unique and one-of-a-kind entertainment golf experience.”

The sprawling, 17,800-square-foot space will house three themed nine-hole mini-golf courses: the Library (think lots of book shelves); the Lodge, which has a cozy, ski-valet vibe, as well as a fireplace; and the urban-y Rooftop, inspired by big cities around the globe.

After playing a few rounds, you’ll be able to refuel at Puttery’s three lounges. Among the noshes on the “classic American” menu are shareables like oven roasted meatballs, veggie potstickers and tuna tostadas. Wash down your eats with the signature cocktail, appropriately called the Tasty Green (vodka, lime, cane sugar, cucumber and basil).

About those drinks ... Did we mention Puttery’s 21 and up?

“No kids at play here,” says a release.
