The Wharf Miami is feeling your quarantine pain.
The Brickell hot spot has linked up with local Instagram kings Only in Dade for a livestreaming, virtual event to remember starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.
This sure-to-be-lit social-distance fundraiser will be livestreamed on OID from The Wharf and benefit United Way’s Miami Pandemic Response Fund, “Operation Helping Hands,” an emergency initiative to help neighbors during a time of crisis.
The invite calls the event the “ultimate balcony party,” with DJ Irie and Mr. Mauricio spinning on site for all of us in lockdown, trying to stay safe.
“Sheltered at home. United in spirit. Fight for a stronger Miami,” it says.
OID — known for posting crazy videos taken by residents saying “Only in Dade!” — will also have floating billboard company Ballyhoo Media’s LED boat cruising the Miami River playing music from loudspeakers.
The evening will begin with Pitbull’s new song-chant “I Believe That We Will Win.”
