Happy 6-Year Anniversary to Mansion
It’s crazy to say that Mansion Nightclub on South Beach has only been around for 6 years; it seems like an eternity. I can’t recount the amount of times that I have stepped inside the amazing theater like venue and partied like there’s no tomorrow. So many fantastic DJ’s and megahit artists have rocked the stage, whether it was hip-hop, house, or electro, the Opium Group has managed to bring international superstars from all over the world to Miami for our listening pleasures.
David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Britney Spears, Erick Morillo, and many more have all been special guests at Mansion bringing their spectacular music talents to the stage for us to enjoy. It’s been one amazing act after another, when it comes to entertainment; Mansion is on top of the game. I still remember the first time I heard Bob Sinclar LIVE at Mansion, the crowd was insane, the music was out of control, and the vibe was magical. It gave me chills, especially since I got to experience the entire show while standing right next to the DJ booth, I stood there and looked out in to the crowd, all I saw was everyone in the place on their feet dancing with their arms in the air pounding away to every beat. The Opium Group managed to bring the venue back to life. It’s where Miami’s hottest socialites go to party any night of the week. Mansion has a night that caters to everyone.
For their 6-year anniversary they’re making sure they are bringing some of the biggest acts in the industry. It’s going to be a weeklong celebration and everyone’s invited to join in on the momentous occasion. International Wednesdays, it’s all open format; the crowd is beautiful, young, and hip. Residents Damaged Goods and Konflikt work the crowd and drop the funky beats to make everyone bounce. This is one of my favorite parties, even though its during the week, it still gets packed and everyone still stays till the night is over. This week American Pop Culture Icon Richie Rich of the design duo for Heatherette will be taking over and hosting International Wednesdays for the Official Launch of his own clothing line, Tabloid Hero. Tabloid hero is a sportswear collection that will feature a “Tabloid Hero” on each shirt and Richie Rich has stated that he’ll have all his celeb friends wearing one in the near future. To get a sneak peak and possibly meat Richie Rich you must make your way to Mansion on Wednesday.
On Thursdays it’s all about In the Studio with the 400 Life, this isn’t a party for just anyone; it’s for the grown and sexy. The exclusive 400 Life takes over and brings the most sophisticated and upscale hip-hop event to Mansion every week with some of the biggest R&B names and Hip-hop artists are always in attendance. From LIVE performances by Monica, Omarion, Brandy, Big Boi, and many more to professional athletes hosting the night, the 400 Club always brings class acts. This week the 400 Club will be in the Studio with Universal Recording Artist Busta Rhymes. He’ll be rocking the stage and getting up close and personal with the crowd as they celebrate Mansion’s 6yr anniversary in 400 Life manner.
Friday, April 16th the weekly We Rock Hip Hop Party will have a special performance by Fabulous and Trey Songz. It’s the Official After Party for the Be Seen Being Green College Music Tour going down at the James L. Knight Center. They’ll have you “Say Ah” as they support the national campaign to be “Green” and environmentally friendly. We Rock Hip Hop is one of the best Friday night parties on SoBe. You club gets extremely packed and the crowd is always alive with a youthful vibe. It’s the start of the weekend; everyone is ready to party and wild out. The door is always packed and the music is out of control!
Saturday, the party continues with special guest DJ Steve Aoki. Steve Aoki is one of my favorite DJ’s, his style is funky fresh, upbeat, and heart pounding. Let your inner fashionistas come out; the dress code on Saturdays is sexy chic. This week in honor of the 6-year anniversary Steve Aoki will be rocking the decks all night long. This is one performance you don’t want to miss.
To finish off the week long festivities Mansion is keeping it sexy with a special edition of Striptease Sundays with a LIVE performance by Hip Hop recording artist Fat Joe alongside resident DJ Affect. It’s going to be a perfect ending to an amazing week of events to celebrate the anniversary of one of the hottest clubs on South Beach. Mansion is prepped and ready, this week is going to be out of control; all the night owls better be ready with a healthy supply of Redbull to make it through each of the fabulous events.
The Opium Group has out did themselves and I am thankful that they have given Mansion back the glory it deserves. This has been an amazing ride so far; I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future and making more memories with all my friends.
As the saying goes, “While others play house, they play MANSION!”. Happy Anniversary, I wish you many, many more!
