From the stunning mosaic tiles that frame the pool, to the dozens of centuries-old relics, furniture and art pieces that stock its halls and suites, The Villa Casa Casuarina makes visitors feel like they’re stepping into 16th century Spain. (The house itself was modeled after the Alcazar de Colon, built in Santo Domingo in the early 1500s by the son of Christopher Colombus.) Add in the extravagant, colorful decorating touch of former owner Gianni Versace, and it’s easy to forget that Ocean Drive waits literally outside the door.

The Coco Casuarina will transport the imbiber to the beach with Ciroc Coconut vodka, Malibu coconut rum, and coconut milk ($20).
