New Patrón lets you step up your Cinco de Mayo game

What: Patrón Extra Añejo 7 Años

The Story: The storied Patrón distillery made only 700 cases of this rare bottling: a blend of two pine-fermented tequilas aged in French oak barrels. The bottle shape replicates the first hand-blown Patrón bottles. More expensive than your run-of-the-mill, unaged tequila, Extra Añejo 7 Años has a smooth mouthfeel with notes of caramel, honey and vanilla — not of that five-alarm burn you remember from the cheap stuff.

How Much: $300.

Where to Find It: Total Wine & More.
