According to cocktail connisueur and writer Camper English, Miami’s own John Lermayer is collaborating with restaurateur David Martinez (Michelle Bernstein’s husband) to open a cocktail bar in South Beach by late December. Sweet Liberty Drink and Supply Company will focus on classic American cocktails with playful additions like bottled cocktails, house-made sodas and wine cocktails. English’s report, published in a national roundup on Details.com, says Sweet Liberty will serve food (think lobster rolls and po’ boys) and sell premium barware with the help of the esteemed manufacturer and supplier to the stars of the spirits industry, Cocktail Kingdom.
