The story: Repour, pronounced “rapport,” is taking a bow for one year of relaxed revelry inside the Albion Hotel. Former bartender for the laid-back cocktail bar, Jaren Rivas, took a wintery favorite known as the hot toddy and created a Miami version in honor of the season and the bar’s milestone. His version merges Maker’s 46 bourbon with Harney & Sons Holiday Tea (black tea spiced with citrus, almond, clove and cinnamon), and includes starfruit-infused honey and fresh grapefruit juice. This tropical twist is available through February as carambola season (starfruit) comes to a close. The warmth of the drink combined with its soothing ingredients makes for a cozy night at the bar.
