Alessandra Ambrosio brings the glam to World Cup match
Someone famous managed to take the attention away from the boisterous Tartan Army on Wednesday night at the Brazil vs. Scotland match at Hard Rock Stadium. And we’re not talking about Neymar.
That would be Alessandra Ambrosio, who turned multiple heads as she entered the Miami Gardens stadium to root on her country in the FIFA World Cup.
In a clip posted to soccer journalist Franco Panizo’s X account, the Victoria’s Secret Angel is seen duly dressed for the heat, in a white tank and matching cutoffs with her team’s canary yellow scarf tied around a belt loop. Panizo’s post erroneously that the battle was against Croatia, a mistake the local podcaster later rectified.
Ambrosio, smiling and waving to fans, was flanked by an entourage that included her 14-year-old son, Noah, whose name was inscribed on the back of his jersey. The teen’s father is the supermodel’s ex, L.A. fashion entrepreneur Jamie Mazur; they also have a daughter, Anja, 17., who wasn’t spotted.
On Instagram, the 45-year-old beauty shows off the electrifying view of the field and the crowds from her seat. On Insta Stories, she also shows the excitement as Neymar made his return to the pitch coming in as a sub in the 76th minute after a lengthy knee injury.
Seems Ambrosio, who is from Erechim, a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in the south, brought not only glam to the game, but some luck. Final score: 3-0 Brazil over Scotland.
“Vai Brasil,” said the caption. (“Go Brazil” in Portuguese.)
