‘When in Miami:’ Reality stars descend on Marysol Patton’s splashy bash
Despite “The Real Housewives of Miami” going on hiatus, Marysol Patton is busier — and more fabulous — than ever.
The onetime publicist put on her hosting hat for a party at Big Bang Boutique at Faena Miami Beach Hotel Thursday to help get some of her closest friends glammed up before Miami Swim Week.
Guests mixed and mingled sipping on Pitbull’s Voli vodka “cockies” (Patton’s fave activity) while checking out luxury goop from such luxury brands as Nannete de Gaspé, Borghese and Sisley Paris.
Among the attendees were some of the Bravolebrity’s besties from the show like Alexia Nepola, Lisa Hochstein and Kiki Barth. Also in the crowd was a seriously mixed bag of reality stars. Think Loren Brovarnik (”90 Day Fiancé”), Carmen Carrera (”RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Monica Vaswani (”Family Karma”), Taja Abitbol (Netflix’s “Members Only Palm Beach”) and Kelsey Swanson (”The Real Housewives of Rhode Island”).
Swanson, who walked the Cupshe runway the next day at Temple House in a red one-piece, shared a snippet from the Faena party on Instagram, posing with Patton, decked out in vintage Chanel.
“When in Miami, you know I had to visit the Queen!” read the post.
Patton will be again queen for the day June 13, when she takes on grand marshal duties for FLoatarama, a charity brunch aboard the Sun Dream Catalina yacht.
The moveable feast, which cruises along Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway, will raise funds for LGBTQ-youth organizations and feature a live DJ, open bar and positive vibes.
“Marysol brings star power and genuine passion for giving back, which is exactly what FLoatarama represents,” said Scott Schramm, president of FLoatarama.
The TV personality told the Miami Herald that she was “honored” to take over the duties for “Deco Drive” reporter Alex Miranda, who’s the emcee this year.
“I believe in showing up for a community that leads with love, authenticity and joy,” she said. “Supporting an event that raises funds while celebrating inclusivity, pride, and connection means a lot to me.”
