‘Personal health update’: Donald Trump Jr.’s ex has cancer
Vanessa Haydon is going through some major things.
Days after her eldest daughter, Kai Trump — with ex-husband Donald Trump Jr. — graduated high school, Haydon was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The former model shared “a personal health update” on an Instagram story Wednesday, adding that doctors told her “recently.”
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” the 48-year-old wrote. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
Haydon also shares four other children with Trump Jr.: Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
The native New Yorker also revealed she just had a “procedure” earlier this week, but did not specify what it involved or the stage of cancer.
“Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recover.”
Though not mentioned by name, someone who will likely be Haydon’s support circle is boyfriend Tiger Woods. The golfer, 50, recently returned home to Jupiter Island after a rehab stint in Switzerland following a March 27 car rollover and DUI arrest.
The incident and its aftermath didn’t shake the couple’s foundation, according to People.
“Vanessa and Tiger are in love, still serious, and happy to see each other,” an inside source told the outlet. She “is eager to help him continue with his progress and move beyond any more public scandals — which they both dislike intensely.”
Another major milestone is coming the political family’s way. Donald Trump Jr. is set to wed Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson over Memorial Day weekend. Though originally the two wanted to tie the knot at the White House, that didn’t happen because his father, President Donald Trump, rejected the idea.
According to Page Six, the “Triggered” author, who wed Haydon at Mar-a-Lago in 2005, is set to swap vows with Anderson on a private island in the Bahamas. The gathering is expected to be small, and it’s unclear if his ailing coparent — with whom Jr. is amicable — will attend.
