Roseanne goes on wild rant on why she may move to Florida

Roseanne Barr went on a comical, curse-filled rant over the weekend about one of the most unlikely things: a children’s recital.

Instead of taking selfies, applauding and cherishing family memories at the event, the comedian admitted to smuggling in booze, fighting with a guard and getting kicked out.

In the now-expired Instagram video reshared on social media, Barr — who lives in Texas to be closer to her brood — sits on a bench explaining the chaos that went down inside the venue. Kids can be heard playing in the background.

The onetime TV star says that during intermission she went to the wine store to pick up a bottle for “a nip.” When she tried to get back inside with it, problems arose.

WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

Barr claims she’d already emptied her purse’s contents including “adult diapers,” into a clear plastic bag for security reasons, so she couldn’t stash the booze in there.

“So I come in with the wine, and I go, ‘Sir, I know you want to confiscate this wine, so would you just hold onto it for me until after the performance?’ “ the 73-year-old recounted.

The guard at the door did not comply, which made her upset. How upset? Barr now is pondering leaving the Lone Star State to move 1,000 miles away, to a palm-tree filled, subtropical place where folks are not oppressed.

“I’m considering going to Florida, where there are people from Cuba who’ve experienced the wonders of communism and hate the f--- out of it, so they’re awake to the bull---,” the Salt Lake City native said, her words slightly slurred. “I might do better down there.”

An unidentified man off camera joked that Barr already got in trouble over there, too.

“I know, I got kicked out of Mar-a-Lago,” Barr revealed, hinting the reason involved alcohol. “I have to cut down my exuberance. I may do a Larry David-type show: ‘Curb Your Exuberance.’”

Not letting the unpleasant matter with the recital go, Barr continued with her diatribe, bemoaning that some people just don’t understand her humor.

“It just pi--ed me off,” the “She-Devil” star railed. “I already have enough bipolar issues that I’ve tried to heal to deal with this kind of s---, where people don’t think I’m funny. Why do people not know I’m funny?”

Her companion notes that the comedy legend wasn’t exactly on her best behavior during the show.

“You called the guy in front of us a fat b------,” he said. “Palm Beach will be better.”

“I‘m damaged, I admit it, and I drink too much and I’m not gonna stop,” Barr responded. “I ain’t gonna stop! I’m here to be prude, rude and otherwise booed. That’s my thing.”

The three-time divorced mother of five relocated from Hawaii’s Big Island to Texas Hill Country, between Austin and San Antonio, last year. Her son Jake Pentland, 47, told UsWeekly that his famous mom lives with him and his wife and two young daughters in a house on 30 acres.

“She is the best grandma,” said the outdoorsman, whose dad is comedian Bill Pentland. He added that besides doing the girls’ hair and makeup, Grandma even takes on some of the household chores, including risky tractor work. So will we see Barr relocate to Florida in the not too distant future? That remains to be seen, because something major may keep her from making that decision. That would be the weather.

“I love it down there, I really do, and I was considering doing it, but then there was this one day that was so damn hot,” the Primetime Emmy winner told Fox News Digital last summer. “And I [was] just like, I think I’d rather burn in hell than live in the sun.”
