Está lista. That’s Spanish for “she’s ready.”

As the FIFA World Cup 2026 inches closer, even soccer non-fans are getting revved up, thanks to Shakira.

On Thursday, the Colombian superstar dropped a new song leading up to the world’s biggest sporting event next month. Called “Dai Dai,” which means “Let’s go!” in Italian, the collab with Nigerian artist Burna Boy is an infectious, inspirational mix of Latin pop-meets Afrobeats.

“You from the day you were born, here in the space you belong,” she sings. “What broke you once, made you strong.”

The Grammy winner will perform this surefire hit live soon — July 19 — at the World Cup final played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Our girl will partake in a huge Super Bowl-style halftime show, headlining along with Madonna and South Korean boy band BTS, known for such hits as “My Universe,” “Savage” and “Swim.”

Expect Shakira to possibly show up in the crowd to at least a few games in her current hometown. Seven matches are being held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, from June 15 to July 18.

The 49-year-old artist is a longtime fan of the sport and appeared at three World Cups, with terrific personal and professional outcomes. Most memorably, in 2010 in South Africa, her track “Waka Waka,” inspired by a Cameroonian military chant, became an instant global phenomenon.

Incidentally, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer reportedly met the father of her two kids, Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique, during the final when his national team beat the Netherlands in Johannesburg. The two split in 2022 and share custody of Sasha, 11, and Milan, 13, who live in Miami with their famous mom.

So, when you can listen to Shakira’s pipes and watch her spectacular moves in the flesh if you don’t make to New Jersey?

Luckily, she’ll sing “Dai Dai” during two back to back shows at the Kaseya Center in downtown Miami on July 1 and July 2 as part of an extension of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore) World Tour: World Cup Edition. It kicks off in Inglewood, California, June 13, two days after the opening match between Mexico and South Africa in Mexico City.

“Can’t wait for this tour full of surprises!” she wrote on Instagram alongside the full schedule. “To be able to sing my new music surrounded by all of you and the incredible energy of this World Cup!”

One of her social followers summed up what many are thinking:

“She is the WORLD CUP QUEEN!”
