Kevin Hart kicks off F1 weekend with celebrity-filled bash
You can almost hear the revving of engines already.
The place to see and be seen this weekend? Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, which has been transformed into a world class racetrack, the Miami International Autodrome. Gates for the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix open at 11 a.m. Friday.
The night before, celebrities helped kick off F1 festivities in a big way over in Surfside, at a Sports Illustrated bash for the ages. The VIP party, at Thomas Keller’s Surf Club inside the Four Seasons Hotel, was co-hosted by Kevin Hart. The comedian was also celebrating his branding deal with IP licensing giant Authentic, which happens to own SI.

Among the high-wattage guests were a mix of locals (influencer Alix Earle, tennis greats Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki) and Hollywood types (Hailey Bieber, Tommy Mottola, Mario).
Also spotted in the crowd were “Shark Tank” frenemies Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John and Bethenny Frankel, who strutted her stuff in the last two SI: Swimsuit editions.
Insiders told the Miami Herald that the event went swimmingly, even despite a near-miss between Earle, rocking a red mini-dress, and her footballer ex, Braxton Berrios.
