Tom Holland couldn’t visit Publix for the first time without trying one of the supermarket chain’s beloved subs, a staple of many Floridians’ diets and a rite of passage for visitors.

In an undated video shared Thursday by a fan page on X, the “Spider-Man” star sits in a car in the driver’s seat and shows off his purchase, a six-incher wrapped in Publix’s signature parchment paper.

Holland has been doing the rounds in South Florida promoting Bero, his non-alcoholic beer. The 29-year-old was spotted in Miami Beach last month amid unsubstantiated rumors of a wedding with fiancée Zendaya. The adult(ish) beverage is currently available in a 12-can variety pack in most South Florida Publix locations.

“I’m gonna try this ‘Pub Sub,’ ” the actor announces, using the proper nickname.

Adding that he wants to see which Bero pairs well with his stuffed-to-the-gills sammie, he digs in.

“I don’t know what this sandwich is called,” says the Brit, his mouth full. “But that is delicious!”

Holland goes on to recommend the sub with the “pils,” aka pilsner, a light-colored “traditional continental lager.”

His male passenger asks him to rate the meal on a scale of 1 to 10.

“Eight,” the “Billy Elliot” star responds, adding it could use a little more buffalo sauce, a clue that the order was the chicken-tenders version. “All in all, this is absolutely what I needed right now.”

We reached out to Lakeland-based Publix to find out when the star was there and at which location, but did not immediately hear back.
