All the stars who showed up to a fancy horse show in Miami Beach
Humans weren’t the only ones hanging out on the sands of Miami Beach over the weekend.
The Global Champions Arabians Tour, a super fancy, two-day equestrian event known to insders as GCAT, was back for a second year. More than 100 horses and their handlers from across the globe competed for a share of the $2.7 million purse.
At Friday’s opening ceremony, the bar was set high in terms of local star power, with Jamaican dancehall great Sean Paul taking the center stage. In the crowd, former “Real Housewives of NYC” star Bethenny Frankel was seen dancing to 2002’s “Shake That Thing” with a mystery man. According to Page Six, the blond gentleman is Miami financial advisor Shane L. Campbell and he’s the new boo the Bravolebrity’s been hinting about on social media.
Just as the audience was all warmed up, 50 Cent popped up in a three Cadillac Escalade convoy. The rap megastar hit the stage to perform such classics as “In Da Club,” “Candy Shop” and “Pimp.”
Talk about boujee entrances. Both days, DJ Khaled rolled up in a limited-edition rust-colored Maybach. The snazzy German car parked right on the sand next to the VIP tent because we heard the music mogul didn’t want to get his kicks dirty. Believe it. Back at 2024’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Khaled had two bodyguards carry him to the action so his Air Jordans didn’t get messed up.
While Khaled didn’t perform, guests were treated to a mini concert by fellow South Floridian Jason Derulo to close out the festivities on Saturday night. The Miramar native busted out such hits as “Whatcha Say,” “Swalla” and “Savage Love.”
Other high-wattage guests spotted in attendance: Larsa Pippen and Stephanie Shojaee, whose show, “The Real Housewives of Miami,” has been indefinitely paused; TV personality Terrence J; and “Shark Tank” judge Daymond John.
