‘Miami nights’: Sofia Vergara paints the town with la familia
Let’s all take a vote: Sofia Vergara needs to become a full-time resident of the 305 again.
The “Modern Family” star, who has a bunch of relatives in South Florida, started her career down here as a model in the ‘90s, and posts throwbacks any chance she gets.
On Saturday, the 53-year-old actress attended the South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Grand Tasting Village on the sand with her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 32 (dad is Vergara’s ex husband/high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez).
The mom and son duo are the founders of Toma, a line of Latin foods — empanadas, croquetas and pan de bonos — available at Walmart.
The night before, Sofia and Manolo ditched the carbs and went for pure protein at Papi Steak, co-owned by hospitality giant David Grutman. According to insiders, their large table ordered the famed $1,000 Wagyu tomahawk that arrives in a gold briefcase amid much fanfare.
On Instagram, Vergara posted a snap at the SoFi clubstaurant, which recently reopened after a massive makeover. Vergara and her peeps pose in front of the massive floral wall mural, which replaced the black one (same artist, though — Canada’s Candice Kaye).
The cheeky, bilingual caption: “Miami nights con la familia...puro perreo (clean twerking).”
Paparazzi pics show that the “America’s Got Talent” judge knows how to definitely dress for the occasion, rocking a long, red corset dress.
Like we said: Sofia needs to move back to the Magic City immediately, if not sooner. Anyone know a good Realtor?
