Rumors of turmoil in the Beckham family have been around for a hot minute.

Ever since David and Victoria Beckham’s oldest son Brooklyn married Palm Beach socialite/actress Nicola Peltz, that is.

Unfortunately, the rumors are true.

Scandalous details of the young couple’s April 2022 wedding, in which guests signed ironclad NDAs and left their phones at the door, were leaked every now and again. The blessed event was apparently a catastrophe and sparked a major rift within the Beckham family that now appears to be at the point of no return.

What caused the epic breakdown in relations? For starters, fashion.

Peltz’s gown was set to be designed by Victoria’s eponymous label, but due to alleged problems with the former Spice Girl’s atelier, the “Airbender” star tied the knot in Valentino.

But in May last year, People mag reported that the issues within the family dynamic went way beyond the gown. Insiders told the outlet the bride believed that her mother-in-law hijacked the nuptials at Montsorrel estate, owned by her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner.

Guests have blabbed that things were definitely awkward during one of the newlyweds’ first dances to an undisclosed song by the celebrity performer, Marc Anthony.

The Miami-based salsa star reportedly called Brooklyn to take the floor — not with Peltz, but his mother, now 51.

“The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up! Victoria Beckham,” Anthony said, according to People, which added that Peltz ran from the room in tears.

No one in the Beckhams’ inner circle has ever corroborated the onlookers’ accounts, until Monday night. In a series of extraordinarily brutal Instagram Stories, Brooklyn explains the wedding debacle is one of the reasons he has cut all contact with his parents.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” the hot sauce entrepreneur wrote. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”

The 26-year-old’s posts take aim mostly at Victoria, whom he accuses of not making Peltz’s dress “at the 11th hour,” out of spite. He also dropped the viral bombshell that she ”danced inappropriately on me” in what should have been a romantic memory with his wife, 31.

Brooklyn ended the digital diatribe saying that going forward that he and Peltz don’t want a life “shaped by image, press, or manipulation” but one filled with “peace, privacy and happiness.”

The parents of four have not publicly responded to their firstborn’s stunningly cringeworthy claims. Victoria’s Insta Stories on Wednesday sent birthday wishes to ex-bandmate Emma Bunton.

But David did seemingly allude to their disastrous relationship during an appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday.

The soccer icon, 50, touched on the topic of parenting in the tricky age of social media.

“Children are allowed to make mistakes,” the Inter Miami co-owner said. “That’s how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
