Where do real locals go to watch the national championship game Monday night?
Some, like Luther Campbell, are definitely not about to see Indiana vs. Miami in the flesh at Hard Rock Stadium, where seats are going for $4,000-plus.
The former 2 Live Crew frontman’s been here, done that.
“I’m going to the Trap!” the rap icon told his followers on Instagram, referring to Booby Trap on the River in Allapattah.
Campbell makes a pretty good case for going to the adult entertainment venue, whose past patrons include Lil Wayne, Drake and Flavor Flav.
The “Cuttin’ In Up” singer calls the partying at the 24/7 destination a “no lose situation.”
No doubt as Uncle Like advises, if you plant yourself at Booby Trap, you can expect to avoid the stadium crowds and concession prices.
“Now if y’all wanna go and pay them crazy ... prices and deal with all that B.S. at that stadium, that’s on you,” he said. “I’m gonna watch the game there, have the party there.”
At the Trap, Uncle Luke, also a former high school football coach in Miami, can not only grab a seat wherever he wants and watch the Canes in peace, but he gets to see “beautiful things walking around” during the commercials. (He’s talking about the employees.)
“So now you have it,” the Miami Beach Senior HIgh grad said, extending an invite to his fellow South Floridians. “You’re more than welcome to come, have a drink with me. It’s gonna be good!”

Booby Trap: A quick scan of Booby Trap’s social media — chockful of scantily clad ladies — reveals Luke is likely not steering you wrong. Though there are no advertised specials for Monday night, the cover charge starts at $30. If you arrive between noon and 7 p.m., Booby Trap offers free bar food including quesadillas, wings and croquetas seven days a week.
