Back in September, Sergio Busquets fans already knew the end was near.

The Inter Miami star announced his retirement at the end of the Major League Soccer season.

So it should come as no shock that the defensive midfielder’s pulling up stakes: Busquets’ waterfront home near Fort Lauderdale that he bought new a little more than two years ago, is currently for sale, The Real Deal first reported.

The snazzy meets contemporary home is located in the small town of Sea Ranch Lakes, a few miles from Chase Stadium where the team plays and practices.

The Spanish baller reportedly paid just around $8.7 million for the 7,100-square-foot, seven-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom manse, which can be yours for $9.8 million.

Perks include a three-car garage; soaring ceilings; a pool; direct access to Lake Seneca and a beach club; plus, the added security of the town’s own police department.

Veroushka Volkert of One Sotheby’s International Realty, who brokered the initial sale, has the listing.

So, what’s next for the soccer star? A break, for sure, then we hear he’ll venture into coaching, probably back home in Europe.

“You want to enjoy time with your family, time for me, for them, seeing my children, being with them, traveling more, watching football from a different perspective,” the 37- year-old father of three told reporters in October. “And then, in the future, we’ll see.”

In the initial Instagram post, alerting his 6.5 million followers about hanging up his cleats, he wrote:

“A heartfelt thank you to everyone, and to football, for everything. You will always be a part of this beautiful story.”
