‘Friendsgiving week’: See what Sydney Sweeney was up to on her Florida Keys getaway
The fun continues.
While many folks sat around the family table slicing up turkey in cooler climes over Thanksgiving, Sydney Sweeney was soaking up the sun.
Who could blame her? The “Euphoria” star bought a sweet mansion in the Florida Keys last summer, and was duly enjoying her mortgage.
The 28-year-old It Girl, who’s originally from the rainy state of Washington on the West Coast, wasn’t solo.
Sweeney brought along a couple of pals, including new boyfriend Scooter Braun. Sparks reportedly first flew with the onetime celebrity manager (and Taylor Swift foe) at Jeff Bezos’ Venice wedding to Lauren Sanchez in June.
The new couple’s relationship appears to be heating up by the day. Paparazzi snapped the two on their getaway, sharing pictures of them riding on jetskis, playing volleyball and chilling in the pool.
Sweeney, too, shared some pics on an Instagram carousel with her girlfriends entitled “Friendsgiving week.” In one photo, the actress is holding a shot at iconic bar Sloppy Joe’s, in another, doing karaoke at the Key West EmPOURium.
Sweeney also shared snippets from a “Shrek”-themed party at her house, decorated like the village seen in the beloved franchise about an ogre who falls for a princess. The hostess dressed up in red lingerie and devil ears as Dragon, the feisty wife of Donkey, voiced by Eddie Murphy.
So, we have to know: Is Sweeney just a rabid “Shrek” fan or could she be teasing a possible project? Because we hear No. 5 is coming down the pike, with such actors as Miami native Marcello Hernandez already in the mix. And Murphy confirmed to Screen Rant that there was “Donkey” spinoff in the works, too.
