Andy Cohen went there.

While interviewing Shaquille O’Neal earlier this month on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” the Bravo honcho brought up a taboo topic in the basketball world.

Cohen asked the former Miami Heat center if he thought it was “wild” that “Real Housewives of Miami” star Larsa Pippen was dating Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan. The NBA icon just happened to play with the Bravolebrity’s ex husband, Scottie Pippen, on the Chicago Bulls back in the day.

The former teammates didn’t exactly see eye to eye, and we’re not talking about their height. In his memoir “Unguarded,” Pippen wrote that Jordan (seven inches shorter!) “couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.”

Shaq, who played against both men on the court many times, wanted none of that smoke. In a shrewd move that way private celebs would be smart to replicate, basically said no comment.

As soon as Cohen’s inflammatory question landed, Diesel starting crinkling a sheet of paper, drowning out his (already low) voice.

“What happened was ...” said Shaq, his voice muffled by the noise as Cohen laughed. “Got some static. Everything OK with your microphones?”

As for his own love life, Shaq claims he’s single and even pitched a dating show idea. The reality competition would be called “The Next Mrs. O’Neal,” the Fort Lauderdale resident explained.

So what type of contestants is the father of six — who divorced Shaunie Henderson in 2011 — seeking?

A motley crew, apparently:

“A lawyer, stripper, somebody from abroad and then two wild girls.”
