After some recent drama at home, Jamie Foxx chills in Miami for Halloween
No trick or treating for Jamie Foxx on Halloween.
The comedian celebrated a chill, fancy night out Friday at Kiki on the River in Miami, in head-to-toe designer Dior duds and a white 10 gallon hat.
We were told the funnyman started his evening on the restaurant’s charter boat, Kiki at Sea, where he hung out with a group that included his on-again galpal Alyce Huckstepp.
Later, back on land, the couple dined at a table overlooking the Miami River, noshing on Greek fare and dancing until late night.
It’s good to see no problems arose for the Oscar winner while in town because he’s been going through it. Last week the “In Living Color” alum had to step in after his teen daughter Anelise Foxx’s inaugural music festival Skvlk Fest at his L.A. area home got out of hand. While rapper GloRilla was performing, someone in the audience threw an object thought to be a bottle at the stage.
Videos of the dramatic moment went viral, with Foxx having to turn down the temperature.
“Who did it!? Why would you do something like that!?” the 57-year-old star asked the concertgoers. “That’s just fu--ed up bro.”
It’s unclear what happened to the individual who caused the chaos, but the event resumed. Foxx later posted on Instagram that his daughter’s bash was “the best party ever.”
Again, hopefully, Foxx was able to relax a little, grab some rays and just breathe. Although the frequent visitor to Miami is fine now, back in April 2023, he was hospitalized for weeks while shooting “Back in Action” in Atlanta.
Foxx finally broke his silence about his mystery illness in a Netflix special called “What Happened Was.” He explained he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, the condition, also known as an intracranial hemorrhage, causes blood to pool between your brain and skull, preventing oxygen flow. Causes include aneurysms, tumors and trauma and hypertension. Foxx never publicly disclosed what led to the potentially fatal health issue.
