Tennis icon’s marriage rocked by ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ scandal. An update
Jaws were dropping left and right during the “Real Housewives of Miami” three-part reunion earlier this month.
Among the many shocking revelations was the reason why Adriana de Moura and Julia Lemigova are no longer friends.
Lemigova dropped the bombshell that there’s tension due to the fact that they “slept together” while on a cast trip to the Hamptons back in season 4 (2021).
The former beauty queen, the first openly LGBTQ “Real Housewives” star, admitted her marriage to tennis legend Martina Navratilova at the time wasn’t great. Lemigova claimed she let the cat out of the bag because de Moura was “blackmailing” her with the secret.
De Moura initially said she wasn’t going to blab because she’s “not that person” and didn’t want to wreck someone’s marriage. But de Moura eventually admitted something intimate between them did occur, adding a steamy tidbit that Lemigova had other (male) lovers as well.
“She was cheating on Martina with a Haitian mortician!!” de Moura shouted as the panel gasped. “You used to take him to the motel, pay for the motel, bring the champagne and had to give him a coffee machine as a gift!”
Another lover was a cop, alleged de Moura.
“Would you have these affairs?” host Andy Cohen asked Lemigova.
“I shared with Adriana in confidence certain situations,” the Russian native allowed, adding that Navratilova was aware.
“So you have a pattern of cheating!” de Moura interjected. “You’re a liar and you’re a cheater.”
After reunion clips went viral, with a coffeemaker meme even making the rounds, we were left to wonder, how is Navratilova handling all of this?
Well, we’re happy to report that the marriage has seemingly survived the scandal.
Castmember Kiki Barth just threw a fancy private dinner La Grande Boucherie in South Beach. In attendance were Lemigova and Navratilova, who recently adopted two baby brothers. In video taken from the event, they are all smiles, posing together, embracing and kissing.
The date of the party, we were told, was Oct. 15 — almost a week after the explosive episode aired.
And, on Wednesday night, Lemigova set the record straight at costar Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola’s comedy show at Miami Improv, Page Six reports.
At one point in the evening, after the topic of the Haitian mortician came up, Lemigova stood up and grabbed the mic. The Bravolebrity told the crowd that, yes, such a man existed, but their fling occurred before she was married to Navratilova, back in 2014, while she was living in Paris.
“Adriana takes a piece of the truth, and then she wraps it in a bunch of lies,” Lemigova said. “No, I did not give the Haitian mortician a coffeemaker!”
