Bhad Bhabie’s dad slams her new song: ‘I don’t know why she hates me’
Bhad Bhabie‘s father has opinions about her new, apparently autobiographical song, “Honest.”
In the track, the Boynton Beach native references a tumultuous childhood.
Bhabie, real name Danielle Bregoli, came on the world’s radar after her appearance on “Dr. Phil” in 2016 on the show titled, “I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime.” She went on to have a career as a rapper, an Only Fans model and other business ventures.
In “Honest,” Bhabie sings that her single mom was a “soldier,” but also “bat-s--t” and her dad a “deadbeat” who only reconnected with her when she hit it big.
Printable lyrics include: “Since I was 3 everything on me / my pops ain’t want me in his life / Seen I was famous now he tryna get in touch with me like I should care / It’s f--k him though. I hope he waste away / What kinda father sacrifices a relationship for 20K?”
In a new interview with TMZ, her father Ira Peskowitz clapped back, taking issue with Bhabie alleging money was exchanged for him to sever ties with her.
“I didn’t sell her for $20,000,” said the 57-year-old cop based in West Palm Beach. “I was trying to be part of her life way before Dr. Phil ... I have documentation to show that I tried to get her into a program to try to help her out. I don’t know why she hates me so much ... I don’t want my daughter’s money.”
WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE
TMZ posted screenshots of since deleted social media posts where Bhabie claimed she paid Peskowitz “years ago” to terminate his parental rights. In the same deleted post, she revealed she tried to repair her relationship with her father after the birth of her own daughter, “but it didn’t work.”
