Marcus Jordan just cut a deal in his Florida DUI case. What we know
Marcus Jordan is still dealing with the aftermath of his arrest on a random road in Central Florida in early 2025.
Michael Jordan’s son was pulled over in Maitland, just north of Orlando, in the early hours of Feb. 4 after getting his Lambo SUV stuck on some railroad tracks.
The sneaker entrepreneur admitted to having a “few drinks” while out at the club and the police report noted he had “slurred speech.”
The 34-year-old was booked on three charges, including DUI crash with property damage, resisting an officer without violence and possession.
The former podcaster caught a break on the possession charge after testing was done on a powdery substance found in his pocket. Officers initially thought the UCF alum was carrying cocaine, but the Florida Department of Law Enforcement subsequently revealed the substance was ketamine, an anesthetic.
To avoid a trial, Jordan’s lawyers just accepted a plea deal, which will close out the case for good.
According to TMZ, Jordan can have all criminal charges dismissed if he follows certain stipulations, such as writing a 250-word apology letter to one of the cops he reportedly berated during his arrest.
Among other conditions: Jordan must do 50 hours of community service, submit to random drug testing and have an ignition interlock device (IID) put on his car, which prevents the engine from starting if the driver’s blood alcohol exceeds a certain limit.
