Newly single Katy Perry sizzles in Miami. See her ‘picante’ Instagram post
She came to play and to slay.
Katy Perry made the most of her short time in Miami in town for one stop on her Lifetimes tour at the Kaseya Center downtown Saturday night.
People magazine posted pictures of the pop star enjoying a day at the ocean in Miami Beach on Thursday. The 40-year-old outer space enthusiast was giving vacation vibes, rocking a black bikini while sipping a drink from a coconut.
Accompanying Perry on her outing? A group of pals — and definitely not rumored new love interest, former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. Whatever, um, fireworks these two had (they were seen out to dinner and he attended at least one of her concerts), they’ve apparently cooled.
Nope, seems Perry is on her own, officially splitting in July with actor Orlando Bloom, the father of her daughter Daisy, who turns 5 on Wednesday.
“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” their reps said in a statement at the time. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Another focus Perry has is obviously getting (and staying) fit. Last year, the “Roar” singer shed roughly 20 pounds by axing sugar and processed foods and loading up on lean protein and fresh veggies, a source told Life & Style.
The California native’s workouts reportedly include playing pickleball, weight training and taking CorePower yoga classes, which have a dash of cardio.
Before heading to Tampa for another show, Perry showed off the fruits of her labor, posing on Instagram in front of a curtain in a mauve, cut-out, slinky dress.
Commenters were duly impressed, with one even making up a word, “Gorgeousity.” Another managed to get a joke in about her strict, religious upbringing (“Forgive us father for we have slayed.”)
