Former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is a father. For realz.

On X, his wife Ginger Gaetz posted a snap of the newborn they named Luckey wrapped in a blanket with his eyes closed.

Though the name may sound unusual to some, it’s actually Ginger’s maiden name.

“Beyond grateful to introduce our son,” wrote the 29-year-old food analyst who wed Gaetz, 43, in April 2021.

In another post wishing her husband a happy anniversary, Ginger showed a video montage of their pregnancy journey. The pair have apparently relocated, at least part time, to the San Diego area, near her family.

“Good man, good marriage, good genes,” said the caption that’s giving American Eagle ad vibes.

If you check out the palm trees on her social media, you can tell they’re not in the Sunshine State anymore. Gaetz now spends his working hours talking Washington, D.C., matters at the Good One America News Network, a far-right media outlet.

The couple met right before COVID in March 2020 during a fundraiser for President Donald Trump (then No. 45) at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. Gaetz popped the question at the very same place nine months later.

Though Luckey is Gaetz’s first biological child that we know of, in June 2020 the ex lawmaker “introduced” his followers to his grown son, Nestor Galban, on what was then Twitter.

“We share no blood but he is my life,” said the Hollywood native’s post. “He came from Cuba (legally, of course) six years ago and lives with me in Florida. I am so proud of him and raising him has been the best, most rewarding thing I’ve done in my life.”

Gaetz, who resigned from Congress amid a sex trafficking probe in November of last year, revealed more about the nature of their relationship to People.

He told the outlet that he was dating Nestor’s older sister when the boy came to Florida at age 12 to live with them after his mother died of breast cancer.

“He is a part of my family story,” said Gaetz, who never formally adopted the boy. “[He] is my son in every conceivable way, and I can’t imagine loving him any more if he was my own flesh and blood.”

Not much is known about what Galban is up to these days. His last X was from December 2022, a picture with a group (that included Gaetz) for a holiday gathering. And his Instagram account is private.
