‘What went wrong here?’ Larsa Pippen responds to doc who had concerns about her face
Enough.
Larsa Pippen is over the trolling after going viral for appearing swollen during a recent chat on an NYC talk show.
Not just online critics came out of the woodwork accusing Pippen of getting too much work done. An actual board-certified doctor even went as far as to create a post featuring a before and after picture of “The Real Housewives of Miami” star, warning folks of the hazards of too much facial filler.
New Jersey aesthetic provider Mai Kaga broke down how Pippen went from “naturally beautiful to noticeably overfilled” after Friday’s “Good Night New York” interview.
Kaga picked apart the 51-year-old’s features, from her nose — alleging the Bravolebrity had a “refined rhinoplasty” — to her “sausage” lips, “tight” smile lines and “very wide” jaw.
“[She] has all the money in the world and ended up looking like this,” the Kaga Academy founder said of the mother of four. “So, what went wrong here?”
“From excessive facial filler to questionable surgery choices, her transformation is a reminder that not all cosmetic work is good work,” said Kaga’s caption. “Even with unlimited funds, choosing the right injector matters. What do you think?”
Pippen told the good doc what she thinks in the comments section, writing, “Honey, I had PRP and had an allergic reaction so chill out.”
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma, a cosmetic treatment in which your own blood is injected back into you to rejuvenate and plump skin. A possible side effect is inflammation, and should clear up within a few days. Time will tell, as will Pippen’s next social media post (the Bravolebrity uncharacteristically hasn’t shared any snaps since the trip north).
But Kaga wasn’t buying it. In a follow-up post, she doubled down, possibly trying to drum up a few new clients in the process, calling out the professionals who agreed to perform the work on her.
“Overfilled vs allergic reaction? The biggest culprit here is nobody saying NO. No to unnecessary treatments, no to too much filler, no the wrong procedures. Whose fault is it? The patient or the injector?”
